Laura Pageau

Laura is a Registered Psychotherapist and is passionate about working in the healing arts. Her mandate is to support clients in identifying and resolving the issues that stop them from experiencing their lives to the fullest.

She is experienced in a variety of counselling interventions, including short-term goal focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, motivational, and strength-based therapies; NLP (Neuro-Linguistics Programming), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) for couples, energy psychology including EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Matrix Reimprinting. Laura is also an IFS (Internal Family Systems) informed therapist and recently completed Somatic-EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) training. She is trained in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and has completed the School of Awakening program with Eckhart Tolle. Laura is called to support clients to recover their wholeness, evolve consciously, and live their most authentic lives.

She offers a blend of loving presence, genuine curiosity, and compassion in the counselling relationship. The twist in her approach comes from a focus on love and forgiveness. Stripping things down so that you may live in congruence with your values and honour your truth.

Laura also offers First Nations and Inuit mental health counselling.

 

Kristin Anjema

Kristin is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a Level 1 Certified Trauma Practitioner with Starr Commonwealth.

Kristin earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and a Child and Youth worker diploma from Lambton College.

Kristin has over 10 years of experience as a therapist. Her experience includes providing counseling to women and children caught in the cycle of domestic violence, children and families who have experienced trauma and/or suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and children and families who experienced separation and loss of a family member.

Kristin also offers faith-based counselling as well as First Nations and Inuit mental health counselling.

Kristin is passionate about helping clients strip away old belief systems that keep them stuck in their past and helping clients experience the freedom of having new, healthy belief systems that enable them to move forward in life.

 

Cara McCormack

Cara graduated with her BSW from the University of Windsor in 1999 and with her MSW, also from the University of Windsor, in 2018. In 2012 she completed the Play Therapy Certificate Program through the Canadian Association of Play Therapy and in 2018 she earned a certificate in Responding to Trauma Using Play Therapy. In 2019, she became an EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained clinician and she continues to pursue and embrace ongoing professional development. Cara has also recently trained in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.

She is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and she has extensive experience in the fields of child welfare, intimate partner violence, and trauma. Clinical areas of practice include trauma therapy, attachment, and emotion-focused work, grief/loss, separation/divorce, self-care, and enhancing positive coping. Complementary strategies used include therapeutic stories, art and play therapy, mindfulness, self-compassion, use of music, positive affirmations, and guided meditations.

A warm, authentic and engaging approach as well as her passion and positive energy influence her daily practice. Cara regards it as a privilege to work with those who are facing traumatic or challenging life circumstances.

Cara also offers First Nations and Inuit mental health counselling.

 

Nichole Cook

Nichole is a registered Social Worker (MSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She has dedicated her career to individuals, families and children since 2010.

Nichole is a trauma-focused therapist who will assist you in gaining a deeper understanding of your struggles, life experiences and relationships. Together, you will get curious and unwrap the murky, tender and sometimes painful core of what is occurring inside while slowly learning how to heal and create the life you desire. Nichole brings a calm and compassionate level of support to her work with you to encourage an emotionally safe and therapeutic relationship. Nichole offers a compassionate and non-judgemental perspective while challenging you to move toward the healing you seek.

Nichole is passionate about offering a nervous-system-informed perspective, achieved through psychoeducation and body-based experiences. She uses a combination of attachment-focused therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to release past wounding, giving rise to your natural and organic healing process.

Nichole seeks to work with those committed to building lasting changes in their lives who have the courage and willingness to lean into the raw human experience embarking on what they seek to restore.   

 

Kellie Webster

Kellie is a Registered Member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists, and Psychotherapists (OACCP). She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy and has expertise in the field of death, dying and bereavement, achieving the title of Certified Thanatologist through the Association of Death Educators and Counselors (ADEC) in 2017. Todd Caldwell, a Registered Member of the College of Psychologists, supervises Kellie.

Kellie has years of experience working with both death-related losses and losses across a lifespan. It is her passion to gently lead her clients to a space where they can cultivate self-awareness, self-compassion and recognize their internal capacity for healing and wholeness. Kellie recognizes the uniqueness in each client’s experience and anchors her sessions by integrating the mind-body-spirit connection into the present moment. She journeys with the client, focusing on his or her unique strengths as the key to building resiliency.

Kellie delivers a non-judgmental approach, bringing compassion, curiosity, and openness into the counselling relationship. Kellie’s main approaches involve a combination of person-centered, cognitive behavioural, solution-focused and mindfulness therapies, grief theory, energy psychology, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Internal Family Systems.

 

Shikara Howes

Shikara is a Child and Youth Worker graduate, and recently completed her Masters of Social Work with the University of Windsor. Shikara has worked as an Educational Assistant and brings her experience working with children with complex needs and a specialty in working with children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. Shikara is a certified Clinical Trauma Practitioner and certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.  Shikara participated in a research publication internship on the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Online and In Office.

Shikara believes in the importance of building a safe, caring rapport with the children and youth she works with. There is an emphasis on creating a safe environment to be able to support the children and youth through their growth. Shikara has experience in working with children through difficult times in their lives with the use of play therapy. Shikara brings various professional experiences to her work, including trauma care, educational/academic, life skills, de-escalation strategies, working with challenging behaviour, and self-regulation. Shikara works with children and youth, as well as their parent(s)/guardian(s) to develop strategies and coping skills that will benefit the children in various environments. Shikara focuses on resilience and solution-based interventions to help youth reach their full potential.

Shikara is a member of the OACCP and is supervised by Laura Pageau, MA, a Registered Psychotherapist.

 

Rachel Harrison

Rachel is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.  Rachel completed her master’s degree program in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Toronto Metropolitan University in Theatre Arts as a Dance Major.  Rachel works to incorporates mindfulness and her knowledge of somatic movement into her practice. She recently became a Facilitator of Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) through the Applied Metapsychology Institute. Rachel is a Certified Yoga instructor (CYT 200) and is a certified Mindfulness Coach.

 

Rob Mancusi

Rob belongs to the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario as a Registered Psychotherapist. He graduated from Kings university college with a degree in psychology with a focus on childhood development and neurodevelopment.

Rob has over 10 years of experience as a child and youth focused therapist. He has worked with parents, children and youth to help better understand and cope with the many difficulties life presents including anxiety, depression, motivation, adhd, anger management and more.

Rob prides himself in being a pop culture enthusiast, philosophy aficionado and neuroscience nerd of which allows him to have a unique perspective and skill to blend these worlds together to better explain high concepts in more practical ways.

Rob believes in empowering the individual through their own strengths while helping to develop new ways of looking at things. He brings understanding, patience and wisdom to help individuals achieve their goals. Rob has a variety of approaches he tries to cater to the client to optimize their potential and grow new skills. 

 

Sara Lamontagne

Sara provides the office with the organizational skills, attention to detail, and competence necessary to keep the office running seamlessly. Sara’s customer service abilities are second to none. She is often the first point of contact for new and returning clients, and her humble and compassionate approach provides these clients with the comfort and safety they seek and are often needing.  Sara delivers the structure that keeps us on track, and the flexibility to work to our strengths which allows the office to maintain an efficient and cohesive workflow.

Sara is also a certified yoga teacher and believes that everyone we encounter in our lives, is crossing our path for a reason. That we are all each other’s teachers and that everyone has value. She feels blessed with the opportunity to work alongside a like-minded group of people and to be a part of this wonderful healing space.
